We are currently looking for an ELECTRICIAN/APPROVED ELECTRICIAN to join our team


The ideal applicant will have the opportunity to work with our existing client portfolio and on new exciting projects we have coming up. Our company portfolio includes military sites, luxury car manufacturers, local authorities, schools and many other sites.


Package

  • Permanent position based on 42.5 hours per week with the opportunity to work overtime (evenings and weekends).

Requirements

  • Graded Electrician/Approved Electrician as per JIB
  • 18th edition
  • Ability to be a team leader and have supervisory responsibilities which would include;

Site setup all relevant paperwork

Liaising with site operatives, subcontractors and management

Managing labour and subcontractors

Manage materials and deliveries

Ensuring H&S standards are always met and adhered too.

Ability to manage your workload and your team if needed.

  • Hand tools and basic battery powered tools
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Problem solving
  • Willingness to work overtime and potentially work away to support our team


Any other certifications such as • IPAF • PASMA • FIRST AID • SSSTS Desirable but not essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client relationships, addressing concerns and providing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate contracts, review project specifications and manage procurement processes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to uphold industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide accurate and timely project updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any issues that may arise.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Electrical Project Management/Contracts Management within the electrical services industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
