About DAL Electrical
We are brothers, best friends and third generation electricians.
Our Grandfather and father were both highly-skilled electricians and taught us the trade from an early age!
It’s in our blood!
DAL Electrical is run by brothers Andrew and James Leigh who are third generation electricians by trade, proudly following in the footsteps of their dad and grandad.
Being hands on from a early age helping out at home and wherever they could, gave Andy and James a great foundation when they were old enough to start their apprenticeships. Once DAL Electrical Services was established, DAL Smart was formed. DAL Smart works seamlessly with DAL Electrical Services enabling them to offer a one point of contact project for the installation and commissioning of both the electrical systems and the control wiring. This ensures a smooth, delay free and most cost effective solution for the customer. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, quality of work and we will always make sure your home / workplace works for you.

In 2017 Andy made the decision to start up DAL Electrical Services Ltd with James, and have gone from strength to strength. They have now proudly worked for various blue chip companies based in the UK, which has enabled them to start DAL Smart and they fully believe they will become one of the leading domestic / commercial automation companies in the UK.
Our history
Andy
After leaving school at 16, Andy proudly followed in the footsteps of his dad and grandad and earned himself an apprenticeship at Manweb which was the local electricity board at the time. Upon completing his apprenticeship, Andy left Manweb and went to a Cheshire based electrical contractors where he worked for 18 years as a senior foreman. Being responsible for multi-million pound projects from initial start through to handover is where he gained a vast wealth of knowledge in the industry across all disciplines.
James
James has over 12 years of experience as an approved electrician and designer. After carrying out a full industry approved apprenticeship, in which he won apprentice of the year, James continued to approved electrician and then Technician. After this, James went into the office and trained as an estimator and designer with which he has carried out work on many projects for clients. James believes customer relations is key to the business and takes pride in many repeat customers.
Although DAL Electrical Services is a relatively young company, this doesn’t detract from the vast wealth of experience we have within the company. We have quickly earned an excellent reputation as a trusted partner and contractor with our ever growing client base.
